Live-Simulation

Eine Live-Simulation ist eine Simulation, bei der reale Akteure mit realer Ausrüstung und simulierten Effekten arbeiten.

Militärische Anwendung

Bei militärischen Übungen feuern Soldaten mit realer Ausrüstung (Handfeuerwaffen, Panzern oder ähnlichem). Der Effekt, d. h. der Rückstoß, das Mündungsfeuer und die Wirkung im Ziel wird lediglich simuliert. Dies hat die Vorteile der geringeren Gefährdung der Teilnehmer und des geringeren Kostenaufwands.
