Louise „Lou“ Henry Hoover (* 29. März 1874 in Waterloo, Iowa; † 7. Januar 1944 in New York City) war die Ehefrau des US-Präsidenten Herbert Hoover und die First Lady der Vereinigten Staaten vom 4. März 1929 bis zum 4. März 1933.

Ihre Eltern waren Florence Ida Ward Henry und Charles Delano Henry. Die Familie lebte zuerst in Iowa, zog dann jedoch nach Whittier um.

Lou ritt und jagte gern und beherrschte fünf Sprachen, darunter Chinesisch. 1894 besuchte sie die Stanford University. Sie war die erste Amerikanerin, die in Geologie eine Promotion erhielt.

Herbert und Lou heirateten am 10. Februar 1899. Sie hatten zwei Söhne: Herbert Charles Hoover (* 4. August 1903; † 9. Juli 1969) und Allan Hoover (* 17. Juli 1907; † 4. November 1993).

Lou wurde auf dem Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alto, Kalifornien, begraben. 1964 wurde ihr Grab nach West Branch, Iowa, verlegt.
