Das Meteorologische Institut in Oslo

Meteorologisk institutt (Det norske meteorologiske institutt, DNMI) ist ein meteorologisches Institut in Norwegen und wurde 1866 gegründet. Es ist dem Ministerium für Bildung und Forschung (Kunnskapsdepartement) unterstellt und hat seinen Hauptsitz in Oslo sowie Außenstellen in Bergen und Tromsø.

Die über 70-jährige Kooperation des DNMI mit dem norwegischen Rundfunk wurde 2007 mit der Gründung des Wetterdienstes yr.no intensiviert.[1]
