Monetary Financial Institution

Monetary Financial Institutions (MFI) ist eine im Bankwesen übliche Bezeichnung von Kreditinstituten, die vom Publikum Einlagen entgegennehmen und diese in Form von Krediten auf eigene Rechnung wieder anbieten. Eine Liste aller zugelassenen MFI im Euro-Raum wird von der Europäischen Zentralbank veröffentlicht.
