Nordvargr

Nordvargr

Zum Thema Satanismus bzw. kontroverse Inhalte sagt Nordvargrs Bandkollege Drakhon: „It is not our aim to tell people what is wrong or what is right in the world. We are not the ones who improve the world, or the ones who imply that everybody should convert to Satanism or some other useful philosophy. It is, however, important to get people’s attention and to point out the rotten carcasses in our society. In that respect, I believe that MZ412 always have been down to the point. […] If someone decides to burn up a church or just meditate to our music, it is, indeed, up to him or her.“[2] Nordvargr bezeichnete den Satanismus als eine natürliche Lebensart, während dies beim Christentum nicht der Fall sei.[3]

As long as his personal views doesn’t affect the music all too much, it doesn’t matter. But music should not be propaganda... besides, I think most people are intelligent enough to not change political views after listening to music - that is something that comes from the values and morals you have been learnt growing up.“[1] Ähnlich äußerte sich auch sein Bandkollege Drakhon.[2] Auch meint Nordvargr, seine Faszination für den Zweiten Weltkrieg und das nationalsozialistische Deutschland seien nicht politisch motiviert;[3] allerdings positioniert sich die Band Naer Mataron, in der er mitwirkt, im Umfeld des National Socialist Black Metal[5], und auch Forgotten Tomb geriet in die Kritik antifaschistischer Kreise.

Projekte
