Robert W. Cox

Robert W. Cox (* 1926) ist ein Politikwissenschaftler aus Kanada.

Der vormalige Direktor des Internationalen Instituts für Arbeitsfragen bei der Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation (ILO) ist derzeit emeritierter Professor an der York University in Toronto und arbeitet unter anderem an einem Projekt für die Universität der Vereinten Nationen über Multilateralismus.

Cox ist einer der Vertreter des Neogramscianismus und hat als solcher die Theorien Antonio Gramscis für die Teildisziplin der Internationalen Beziehungen fruchtbar gemacht.
