Santa Teresa, Stadtstrand

Santa Teresa Gallura (4681 Einwohner, Stand am 31. Dezember 2005) ist die nördlichste Stadt Sardiniens in der neuen Provinz Olbia-Tempio.

Neben zahlreichen Restaurants, Hotels und Geschäften findet man im Ort zwei kleine Sandstrände. Größere Sandstrände sind ca. 8 km außerhalb des Orts bei der Feriensiedlung Rena Majore und noch 10-20 km weiter an der Straße zur Costa Paradiso zu finden. Auch am Capo Testa, dem nördlichsten Punkt Sardiniens sind gute Bademöglichkeiten zu finden.

Anfahrt

Vom Flug- und Fährhafen Olbia (Italien) aus fährt man über Arzachena ca. 40 km nach Norden bis nach Palau (Sardinien). Von dort aus sind es nochmal ca. 15 km bis Santa Teresa.

Fährverbindung

Vom Hafen Santa Teresas besteht eine Fährverbindung nach Bonifacio, zur frz. Insel Korsika, die von den beiden Gesellschaften "Saremar" und "Moby Lines" mehrfach pro Tag bedient wird und etwa eine Stunde dauert. Der Preis pro Person beträgt etwa 25 Euro.
