T-Pay

T-Pay war ein von der Deutschen Telekom AG bereitgestellter Bezahlservice, um die Abwicklung entgeltpflichtiger Online-Inhalte einfach zu gestalten. T-Pay unterscheidet sich von Konkurrenz-Systemen wie PayPal oder ClickandBuy durch die große Spanne verschiedener Zahlungsarten.

Am 30. September 2010 wurde der Bezahldienst eingestellt.[1]

Bezahlvarianten

Dabei wird der Betrag auf die nächste Telefonrechnung gesetzt und damit bezahlt. Diese Möglichkeit stand nur Kunden von T-Home zur Verfügung.
Voraussetzung für dieses Bezahlverfahren ist ein Telefonanschluss bei der Deutschen Telekom mit vorliegender Lastschrifteinzugsermächtigung.
  • Per wiederaufladbarem Guthaben (MicroMoney)
Man kann sich eine MicroMoney-Guthabenkarte kaufen (z. B. online oder im Telekom Shop) und damit anonym bezahlen (nach Eingabe der Kartennummer).

Funktionsweise

Kunden

Nach einer einmaligen kostenlosen Registrierung können kostenpflichtige Angebote im Internet nach Eingabe des persönlichen Benutzernamen und Passwortes mit einer der o. g. Zahlungsweisen bezahlt werden. Voraussetzung hierfür ist, dass der Anbieter des Inhalts T-Pay unterstützt.

Händler/Anbieter

Als Anbieter eines kostenpflichtigen Inhalts muss man sich bei T-Pay anmelden und das Internetangebot entsprechend konfigurieren, um T-Pay-Bezahlung für Kunden zu ermöglichen. Für Anbieter ist die Anwendung von T-Pay kostenpflichtig.

Webshops

T-Pay lässt sich anhand einer Schnittstellenbeschreibung als Modul implementieren und in den Zahlungsprozess von Onlineshops einbinden. Ein bekannter Webshop hierfür ist beispielsweise xt:Commerce. [2]

Vereinfachung für T-Online-Kunden

Kunden von T-Online müssen sich seit kurzem nicht mehr mit einem separaten T-Pay-Benutzernamen und -Passwort anmelden, sondern können im Zuge des Projekts Netzausweis ihre T-Online-Logindaten zum Login verwenden. Voraussetzung hierfür ist die kostenlose Freischaltung des T-Online-Logins für T-Pay.

Einstellung des Bezahldienstes

Die T-Pay Zahlvarianten Telekom Rechnung, Pay by Call, Call and Pay sowie Lastschrift und Kreditkarte wurden am 30. September 2010 eingestellt. Zahlungen mit T-Pay sind somit nicht mehr möglich. Stattdessen konzentriert sich die Deutsche Telekom auf den Bezahlservice ClickandBuy, mit dem die Zahlvarianten Lastschrift und Kreditkarte weiterhin möglich sind.
