Tanneguy Lefebvre

Tanneguy Le Fèvre, in lateinischer Form genannt Tanaquillus Faber (* 1615 in Caen, Département Calvados; † 12. September 1672 in Saumur, Département Maine-et-Loire) war ein französischer hugenottischer Humanist.

Le Fèvre wurde durch Kardinal Richelieu Inspektor der Druckerei im Louvre, ging nach dessen Tod nach Langres, trat hier zur Reformierten Kirche über und erhielt 1653 eine theologische Professur bei der protestantischen Akademie von Saumur, wo er, im Begriff, einem Ruf an die Universität Heidelberg zu folgen, am 12. September 1672 plötzlich verstarb.

Seine Tochter Anne Dacier war von fast gleicher Gelehrsamkeit. Seine hauptsächlichsten Schriften, die zum Teil öfter neu aufgelegt wurden, sind:
