Die Tapti oder Tapi (Hindi: ताप्ती, tāptī; Marathi: तापी, tāpī) ist ein Fluss in Zentralindien, der im Osten der Satpuragebirge südöstlich von Betul in Madhya Pradesh entspringt und westwärts fließt, teilweise parallel zur Narmada. Sie entwässert die Kandesh-Region in Maharashtra und mündet nach etwa 720 km, wovon etwa 300 km schiffbar sind, bei Surat im Bundesstaat Gujarat in den Golf von Khambhat. Das Einzugsgebiet umfasst etwa 77.800 km².
