William Derham

William Derham (* 26. November 1657 in Stoulton, Worcestershire; † 5. April 1735 in Upminster) war ein englischer Geistlicher und Naturphilosoph.

William Derham gilt als der erste Forscher, der die Schallgeschwindigkeit gemessen hat. Er wurde am 3. Februar 1703 in die Royal Society aufgenommen.
