Bofrost (Eigenschreibweise bofrost*) [1] ist der weltweit größte Direktvertreiber von Tiefkühlkost und Speiseeis. Das Unternehmen wurde 1966 von Josef H. Boquoi in Issum gegründet und hat heute seinen Sitz im niederrheinischen Straelen.

In Deutschland beträgt der Marktanteil im Direktvertrieb von Tiefkühlkost ca. 70 Prozent. Bofrost ist in zwölf europäischen Ländern mit rund 240 Niederlassungen vertreten, beliefert etwa sechs Millionen Haushalte und beschäftigt über 9700 Menschen. 2003 betrieb das Unternehmen 5000 Tiefkühl-Verkaufsfahrzeuge. Die Hauptkonkurrenten und Mitbewerber in der Branche sind in Deutschland der Eismann Tiefkühl-Heimservice und Heimfrost.
