Abdulrazak Gurnah

Abdulrazak Gurnah (* 1948 in Sansibar, heute Tansania) ist ein tanzanischer Schriftsteller, der in Großbritannien lebt und arbeitet.

Leben

Von 1980 bis 1982 lehrte Gurnah an der Bayero University Kano in Kano, Nigeria. Anschließend ging er an die University of Kent, wo er 1982 promovierte und seit dieser Zeit dort im Exil lehrt.[1]
