Der Anamudi

Die Kardamomberge sind ein Gebirgszug im Süden Indiens. Er liegt an der Grenze der Bundesstaaten Kerala und Tamil Nadu und ist sind Teil der Westghats, die am Rand des Dekkan-Plateaus verlaufen. Der Name stammt von den Kardamomplantagen in den kühleren Bergen, wo auch Pfeffer und Kaffee angebaut wird.

Die höchste Erhebung in den Kardamombergen ist der Anamudi mit einer Höhe von 2.695 m, der auch die höchste Erhebung in Südindien bildet.
