Emil Hassler (* 20. Juni 1864 in Aarau; † 4. November 1937 in Asunción)[1][2] (auch franz.: Émile Hassler, span.: Emilio Hassler)[2] war ein Schweizer Arzt, Naturforscher und Botaniker. Er wurde durch seine Pflanzensammlungen (Herbarien) und Beiträge zur Flora Paraguays bekannt.

Seine originalen Herbarien aus Paraguay befinden sich im Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de la Ville de Genève im Botanischen Garten Genf.

Hassl. ist die Standardform für Emil Hassler als Autor von Pflanzenbeschreibungen.[2]
