Mary Frann

Mary Frances Luecke (* 27. Februar 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri; † 23. September 1998 in Beverly Hills) war eine US-amerikanische Film-und Fernsehschauspielerin.

Biografie

Schon während ihrer Schulzeit war sie als Kindermodel tätig und bekam mit 18 den Titel als Missouris Junior Miss im Jahr 1961. Später studierte sie Drama an der Northwestern University in Illinois und arbeitete für den Fernsehsender NBC als Wetterreporterin.

1964 gab sie ihr Schauspielerdebüt in einer Episode der Fernsehserie Kraft Suspense Theatre. Die darauffolgenden Jahre war sie als aktive Darstellerin in Serien und Fernsehfilmen tätig. Bekannte darunter waren unter anderem Quincy, Detektiv Rockford - Anruf genügt, Fantasy Island sowie der Thriller Tödlicher Charme von 1990. 1986 und 1987 wurde sie für die Titel der Miss USA und der Miss Universe mit in Betracht gezogen.

Ihre letzte Rolle hatte sie in einer Episode von X-Factor: Das Unfassbare als gierige Maklerin. Am 23. September 1998 verstarb sie in ihrem Haus in Beverly Hills an einem Herzinfarkt. Sie wurde auf dem Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, Kalifornien beerdigt.
