Fünfzehn Schiffe der Royal Navy trugen den Namen HMS Chatham nach dem Hafen von Chatham (Kent), bzw. der dort befindlichen Chatham Dockyard

  • Die erste HMS Chatham (1666) war eine 1666 während des Englisch-Niederländischer Krieg (1665–1667) erbeutete Galliot.
  • Die zweite HMS Chatham (1673) war eine 4-Kanonen-Sloop,die 1673 von Stapel lief und 1677 verunglückte.
  • Die dritte HMS Chatham (1691) war ein Schiff 4.Klasse, das 1691 vom Stapel lief und 1749 als Wellenbrecher vor Sheerness versenkt wurde. Hebung und Abbruch 1762.
  • Die vierte HMS Chatham (1716) war eine 1716 vom Stapel gelaufene 4-Kanonen-Yach, die 1742 verkauft wurde.
  • Die fünfte HMS Chatham (1741) war eine 1741 vom Stapel gelaufene 6-Kanonen-Yacht. 1793 und 1842 total erneuert wurde sie 1867 abgebrochen.
  • Die sechste HMS Chatham (1758) war eine 1758 vom Stapel gelaufene 50-gun Fregatte, die ab 1793 nur Hafendienst versah und ab 1805 Puverhulk genutzt wurde. 1810 wurde sie in HMS Tilbury umbenannt und 1814 abgebrochen.
  • Die siebte HMS Chatham (1788) war eine 4-Kanonen-Brigg (Stapellauf 1788),die zur Pazific-Expedtion von George Vancouver gehörte und die Erde umsegelte . Dieses Schiff ist Namensgeber der Chatham-Inseln. Sie wurde 1830 verkauft.
  • Die achte HMS Chatham (1790) war ein 4-Kanonen-Schoner, der 1790 angekauft und schon 1794 wieder verkauft wurde.
  • Die neunte HMS Chatham (1793) war ein 1793 angemieter Sloop.
  • Die zehnte HMS Chatham (1811) war ein von 1811 bis 1825 genutzter Transporter.
  • Die elfte HMS Chatham (1809) war ein 74-Kanonen Linienschiff. Als französische Royal Hollandais begonnen, wurde sie 18909 in Vlissingen erobert, 1812 in Dienst genommen und 1817 verkauft.
  • Die zwölfte HMS Chatham (1813) war ein 1813 vom Stapel gelaufenes Kranschiff, das 1876 abgebrochen wurde.
  • Die dreizehnte HMS Chatham (1835) war ein eiserner Raddampfer (Stapellauf 1835). Sie wurde in die USA verkauft und war ein Blockadebrecher der Konförderierten während des amerikanischen Bürgerkrieges. Sie wurde von der USS Huron (1861) 1863 aufgebracht und als USS Chatham (1836) bis 1865 weiterverwendet.
  • Die vierzehnte HMS Chatham (1911) war ein 1911 vom Stapel gelaufener Leichter Kreuzer der Town-Klasse. 1920 an die Royal New Zealand Navy verliehen und 1926 verschrottet.
  • Die fünfzehnte HMS Chatham (F87) ist eine Fregatte der Broadsword-Klasse Stapellauf 1988 und noch im Dienst.
