Joseph Edward Davies (* 29. November 1876 in Watertown, Jefferson County, Wisconsin; † 9. Mai 1958 in Washington D.C.) war ein US-amerikanischer Jurist und Diplomat.

Von 1915 bis 1916 war er unter Präsident Woodrow Wilson Vorsitzender der Federal Trade Commission. Nach Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs war er Regierungsberater bei der Pariser Friedenskonferenz 1919. Von 1937 bis 1938 fungierte er als Botschafter der Vereinigten Staaten in Moskau, danach übte er dieses Amt ein Jahr lang in Brüssel aus.

In seinem 1941 erschienen Buch "Mission to Moscow" berichtete Davies über seinen Dienst in der russischen Hauptstadt. 1943 wurde das Buch unter dem Titel Botschafter in Moskau unter der Regie von Michael Curtiz verfilmt.
