Der Ossinger ist eine 651,1 m ü. NN hohe Erhebung im Oberpfälzer Jura, die sich im Landkreis Amberg-Sulzbach südwestlich von Königstein befindet. Es ist der höchste Berg der Hersbrucker Alb.

Der Name Ossinger könnte auf den Odin zurückgehen. Er könnte zunächst Odinsberg, dann Odinsinger und schließlich Ossinger geheißen haben.[1]
