Repeat Offender (engl.: Wiederholungstäter) ist das zweite Studioalbum von Richard Marx, das im Juli 1989 erschien und Marx einen großen Durchbruch verschaffte.

Geschichte

Nach den vierzehn Monaten der Aufnahmesessions an seinem ersten Album, schrieb Richard Marx 1988 eine Reihe von Songs für das zweite Album. Den Schlussstein der Aufnahmen für Repeat Offender legte er mit dem Song Right Here Waiting, durch diesen Song schaffte er damals seinen internationalen Durchbruch und trug den Verkaufserfolg des Albums. Vom Album ließen sich über vier Millionen Exemplare verkaufen.[1]
