TV touring ist ein privater bayerischer Regionalfernsehsender für die Region Unterfranken mit einer Reichweite von bis zu 350.000 Zuschauern[1].

Entstehung

Das Unternehmen wurde 1987 gegründet. Am 17. Februar 1988 erfolgte der Sendestart in Würzburg, zunächst noch an drei Tagen in der Woche, später täglich. 1990 kamen die Standorte Schweinfurt und Aschaffenburg (main.tv) hinzu. Seit 2006 ist ein regionales Nachrichtenportal unter www.tvtouring.de Teil des Angebots. Das Unternehmen umfasst mittlerweile auch eine eigene Werbeagentur, die TV touring media.

Programm

Täglich wird das halbstündige Nachrichtenmagazin „TV touring aktuell“ mit Nachrichten aus der Region um 18.00 Uhr ausgestrahlt. Dabei strahlt jeder der drei Standorte seine eigene Nachrichtensendung aus. Weiterhin beinhaltet das Programm regionalen Sport sowie sogenannte „special interest“-Sendungen zu Themen wie u.a. Umwelt, Gesundheit und Wirtschaft. Außerdem gibt es eine Nachrichtensendung um 18.45 Uhr, die Nachrichten aus dem gesamten unterfränkischen Sendegebiet beinhaltet.

Empfang

  • via Kabel: in Unterfranken auf Lokalkanal 9 zwischen 06:00 und 10:00 Uhr und von 14:00 und 00:00 Uhr sowie zwischen 18:00 Uhr und 18:30 Uhr auf der Frequenz von RTL.
  • via Digital-Satellit: im Bouquet Franken-Sat auf Astra 1F digital - Senderkennung: F-SAT, Transponder: 92, Polarisation: vertikal, Position: 19,2 Ost - Frequenz: 12.246,00 MHz, Symbolrate: 27,5 MSymb/s FEC: 3/4 - Sendezeiten: Würzburg 18:00 bis 19:00 Uhr; Schweinfurt 22:00 bis 23:00 Uhr; Aschaffenburg 17:30 bis 18:00 Uhr und 21:30 bis 22:00 Uhr

Auszeichnungen

Acht Mal wurden Beiträge oder Formate von TV touring mit dem Fernsehpreis der BLM (Bayerische Landeszentrale für neue Medien) ausgezeichnet, zuletzt 2010.
