Stil und Rezeption

Wie bereits auf den Vorgängeralben behandeln die Texte Geschichten und Volkssagen aus England, insbesondere aus der viktorianischen Zeit. Im Zentrum steht das 22-minütige Titelstück, das den Schiffsingenieur Isambard Kingdom Brunel zum Thema hat. Musikalisch bleibt die Band auf diesem Album dem gewohnten von Genesis und Yes beeinflussten Retro-Prog treu, verarbeitet aber auch Postrock-Einflüsse.[1]

Das Album bekam weithin positive Kritiken.[2][3]
