David Leadbetter

David Leadbetter (* 27. August 1957 in Worthing) ist ein britischer Golftrainer.

Leben

Aufgewachsen ist David Leadbetter in Simbabwe, derzeit lebt und arbeitet er in Florida (USA). Er ist verheiratet mit Kelly (die von 1981 bis 1997 auf der LPGA Tour spielte) und hat drei Kinder.

Unter anderem war, bzw. ist er für die Golfprofis Nick Faldo, Greg Norman, Ernie Els und auch Bernhard Langer tätig.

Neben seiner Trainertätigkeit wurde er auch weltweit dem breiten (Golf-)Sportpublikum durch seine zahlreichen Fachartikel und Golfbücher, sowie Golfvideos/DVDs für Amateurgolfer bekannt.

Seine Lehrmethoden werden mittlerweile auch über seine 16 Golfakademien in aller Welt (auch in Deutschland) verbreitet.
