Furikake auf Reis

Furikake (jap. 振り掛け oder ふりかけ) sind verschiedene japanische Gewürzmischungen für Reis. Sie bestehen in der Regel aus getrocknetem und geriebenem Fisch, weißem Sesam, Sojasoße, Seetang, Zucker, Salz und Mononatriumglutamat. Zusätzlich sind mitunter andere würzige Bestandteile wie Katsuobushi (auf der Packung bisweilen als Bonito bezeichnet), Lachs, Shiso, Eier, Gemüse usw. enthalten. Furikake ist oft leuchtend gefärbt und flockig. Außerhalb von Japan wird Furikake meistens dort verkauft, wo auch Katsuobushi zu finden ist.
