Handlung

Der 30-jährige Werbemanager Jack lebt in New York City. Er gilt als erfolgreich, ist aber gelangweilt. Er lernt Jill kennen, und kommt ihr näher.

Jack und Jill arbeiten eine Liste der Regeln aus, nach den sie leben wollen, die mit Ehrlichkeit beginnt. Später fällt Jack auf, dass seine Freundin gelegentlich ohne Erklärung verschwindet. Er forscht nach und stellt fest, dass Jill schwer krank ist. Wütend wirft er ihr Unehrlichkeit vor und beendet die Beziehung.

Jill reist mit einem Bus nach Los Angeles. Jack erfährt von Jills Freundin Lucy über das Ziel der Reise. Er kündigt seinen Job und folgt Jill.


Hintergründe

Der Film wurde in Toronto gedreht.[1] Seine Weltpremiere fand am 12. Februar 2008 auf dem European Film Market statt. Die US-Premiere folgte am 4. April 2008.[2] Die breite Veröffentlichung in den Kinos der USA begann am 11. April 2008.[3]
