Jimmy Osmond

Jimmy Osmond (* 16. April 1963) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musiker, der sich mittlerweile als Unternehmer im Showgeschäft etabliert hat.

Mit seinen Brüdern bildete er im Alter von 15 Jahren die Band The Osmonds. Sie waren in den 70er Jahren das weiße Gegenstück zu The Jacksons. Von Anfang an war er Manager der Band. Zwischenzeitlich war er auch Leiter der Fernsehproduktion des US-amerikanischen Senders ABC. 1990 gründeter er die Osmond Theaterproduktionen (kurz OFT-Production) in Los Angeles (Kalifornien), die seit 1992 ihren Sitz in Branson (Missouri) hat. Im selben Jahr heiratete er auch Michelle Larson und ist mittlerweile der Vater von vier Kindern. 1999 wurde Osmond durch die US-Handelskammer als einer von zehn hervorragenden jungen amerikanischen Unternehmern geehrt.
