John Lewis „Jan“ Hall (* 21. August 1934 in Denver, Colorado) ist ein US-amerikanischer Physiker an der University of Colorado at Boulder.

Hall studierte am Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh und machte dort seinen Bachelor of Science 1956, seinen Master 1958 und promovierte schließlich 1961 in Physik. Er ging 1964 an die University of Colorado und das NIST in Boulder. Hall ist Mitglied der National Academy of Sciences.

Im Jahr 2005 erhielt Hall zusammen mit Roy J. Glauber und Theodor Hänsch den Nobelpreises für Physik, wobei Hall und Hänsch jeweils ein Viertel und Glauber die Hälfte des Preises verliehen bekamen.
