Yellow Submarine ist der Titel des erstmals 1969 erschienenen zehnten Albums der Beatles. Es enthält die Filmmusik zum bereits im Juli 1968 veröffentlichten gleichnamigen Zeichentrickfilm.

Album

Das Album Yellow Submarine wurde am 13. Januar 1969 veröffentlicht. Die erste Seite der LP enthält vier zuvor unveröffentlichte Stücke der Beatles; die übrigen beiden (die Titel Yellow Submarine und All You Need Is Love) waren bereits vorher als Singles der Beatles erschienen. Auf der zweiten Seite der LP befinden sich Instrumentalstücke, die vom Produzenten der Beatles, George Martin, für den Trickfilm komponiert und im Studio mit einem Orchester eingespielt worden waren.
