Das Dorf hat 1541 Einwohner (Stand 31. Dezember 2010) und liegt an der Grenze zur Schweiz am Fuße des Berges Colle S. Ambrogio (528 m). In den letzten Jahren hat sich Bizzarone zu einer Wohngemeinde mit Villen entwickeln. Dennoch ist das alte Dorfzentrum fast vollständig erhalten geblieben.
Sehenswürdigkeiten
Sehenswert in Bizzarone sind die 1597 erbaute Kirche San Rocco und die im 15. Jahrhundert erbaute Kirche Sant'Evasio Martire.
