Entwickelt wurde sie ursprünglich von Numerical Design Limited (NDL) als Nachfolgerin der NetImmerse Engine. Die Spiel-Engine wird, seit einer Fusion beider Firmen, von EGT vertrieben.
Infolge von Umstrukturierungsmaßnahmen wurde im Jahr 2009 ein Teil des Entwicklungsteams entlassen. [1]

Beschreibung
Die Gamebryo Spiel-Engine ist für die Spielentwicklung konzipiert, geschrieben in C++. Gamebryo unterstützt die folgenden Spiele-Platformen:[2]
