Jacob Boersma: Jacob Boersma (1971)

Jacob (Jaap) Boersma (* 2. Dezember 1929 in Leeuwarden) ist ein ehemaliger niederländischer Politiker und Minister.

Er wuchs in Friesland auf und studierte von 1947 bis 1953 Ökonomie erst in Rotterdam und anschließend in Amsterdam. 1964 zog er als Mitglied der Anti-Revolutionären Partei (ARP) in die Zweite Kammer der Generalstaaten ein. Von 1971 bis 1973 war er Sozialminister im Kabinett von Barend Biesheuvel; zeitweise leitete er auch das Landwirtschaftsministerium. 1978 wechselte er in die Partei Christen Democratisch Appèl (CDA) und verließ diese am 11. Oktober 1980 wieder.^[1] Von 1989 bis Januar 1996 war er Mitglied der Partij van de Arbeid.^[1]
