Leonard Zamora Legaspi

Leonard Zamora Legaspi OP (* 25. November 1935 in Meycauayan) ist ein philippinischer Priester und Erzbischof von Caceres.

Leben

Leonard Zamora Legaspi trat der Ordensgemeinschaft der Dominikaner bei und empfing am 17. Dezember 1960 die Priesterweihe. Paul VI. ernannte ihn am 25. Juni 1977 zum Weihbischof in Manila und Titularbischof von Elephantaris in Mauretania.

Der Apostolische Nuntius auf den Philippinen, Bruno Torpigliani, weihte ihn am 8. August desselben Jahres zum Bischof; Mitkonsekratoren waren Juan Bautista Velasco Díaz OP, Bischof von Xiamen, und Federico O. Escaler S.J., Prälat von Kidapawan.

Papst Johannes Paul II. ernannte ihn am 20. Oktober 1983 zum Erzbischof von Caceres.
