Als National Seashore (engl. Nationale Meeresküste) werden an der Küste gelegene Schutzgebiete in den Vereinigten Staaten bezeichnet, die durch die Bundesregierung der Vereinigten Staaten als Gebiete mit besonderer Bedeutung für die Erhaltung der Natur oder als Erholungsgebiet erklärt wurden. Im Jahre 1953 wurde Cape Hatteras als National Seashore ausgezeichnet, seither wurden neun weitere Küstenabschnitte als Schutzgebiet der Verwaltung des National Park Service unterstellt. Insgesamt umfassen die zehn National Seashores rund 1940 Quadratkilometer.[1]
