Sports Experts ist ein österreichisches Handelsunternehmen mit Hauptsitz in Wels, Oberösterreich. Sports Experts ist eine Strategische Geschäftseinheit der Sport Eybl & Sports Experts GmbH. Der jährliche Umsatz des Sportartikelhändlers liegt bei ca. 140 Mio. Euro. Sports Experts beschäftigt rund 725 Mitarbeiter in Österreich. Der Marktanteil in Österreich liegt aktuell bei 7,6%.[1]

Geschichte

Die erste Sports-Experts-Filiale wurde im Oktober 1991 in Linz eröffnet. Im Laufe der nachfolgenden Jahre folgten weitere Geschäfte in Österreich sowie die Expansion nach Deutschland im Jahr 2001. Derzeit bestehen 25 Filialen in Österreich und eine Filiale in Deutschland.
