Goss International ist ein US-amerikanischer Hersteller von Rollenoffset-Druckmaschinen und Anlagen zur Druckweiterverarbeitung. 2006 wurde ein Umsatz von 1,14 Milliarden US-Dollar mit weltweit 4.100 Mitarbeitern erzielt.[1]

Geschichte

Goss wurde 1885 als Goss Printing Press Corp gegründet. Seit der Übernahme des Rollenoffsetbereiches der Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG 2002 – inklusive der von Heidelberger 1988 übernommenen Harris Graphics – nennt sich das Unternehmen Goss International. Im Juni 2010 wurde Goss International zu 100 Prozent von der Shanghai Electric Group Corporation (SEG) übernommen[2].

Es gibt Standorte in Bolingbrook (Illinois/USA), Boxmeer (Niederlande), Durham/Dover (New Hampshire/USA), Kennedale (Texas/USA), Montataire und Nantes (Frankreich), Preston (England), Sayama (Japan) und Shanghai (China).
