Jason Beghe (* 12. März 1960 in New York City) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Gemeinsam mit seinem Freund und späteren Kollegen David Duchovny besuchte er als Kind die Collegiate School in Manhattan, eine Privatschule für Jungen. Nachdem er eine Zeit lang als Model gearbeitet hatte, konnte er als Schauspieler im Film- und Fernsehgeschäft Fuß fassen. Beghe ist verheiratet und lebt in Los Angeles.

Beghe war seit 1994 Scientology nahe und stieg nach seinem Eintritt in die Organisation in der internen Hierarchie zum Rang eines operierenden Thetan auf.[1] Noch 2005 war er in einem Werbefilm für die religiöse Organisation zu sehen, zeitweise fungierte er als Sprecher der Organisation.[2]. Vor kurzem hat er sich nach zwölf Jahren Mitgliedschaft von Scientology distanziert. In einem Aufsehen erregenden Video, das Beghe auf YouTube veröffentlichte, erklärte er im Frühjahr 2008 seine Gründe für den Ausstieg und warnte vor der Organisation. Beghe galt in der Organisation als Vorzeigescientologe und ist der erste prominente Ehemalige, der sich öffentlich gegen sie wendet.[1]
