Er liegt im Mittel 48 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, zwischen 1 Meter in Saint-Magne-de-Castillon und 117 Meter in Saint-Philippe-d'Aiguille.

Geschichte

Der Kanton Castillon-la Bataille hieß „Kanton Castillon-sur-Dordogne“ bis zur entsprechenden Umbenennung des Hauptortes Castillon im Jahr 1953.
