Handlung

In der einige Minuten andauernden Sequenz am Filmanfang werden die Charaktere vorgestellt, darunter die Eheleute Matthew und Annie Kay, die ein Kino besuchen. In Los Angeles bricht die Stromversorgung zusammen. Matthew und sein Freund Joe beschützen Annie und ihr krankes Kind. In der Nachbarschaft wird ein Mensch erschossen. Matthew, Joe und Annie entscheiden sich dafür, die Stadt zu verlassen und zu den Eltern von Annie zu fahren.

  • Mick LaSalle schrieb in der San Francisco Chronicle, dass der Thriller intelligent sei. Er schrieb, dass der Film zeige, dass die Technologie die Menschen isoliert habe. [1]
