Credit Life International N.V. mit Sitz in Venlo ist ein auf Restkreditversicherung spezialisierter Versicherer, der sowohl Finanzierungsnehmer als auch den Finanzierungsgeber gegen vorübergehende oder dauerhafte Ausfallrisiken schützt. Neben dem Schwerpunkt der Absicherung von Krediten bietet Credit Life International Lösungen rund um die Themen Arbeitslosigkeits-, Arbeitsunfähigkeits- und Todesfallversicherung an. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt rund 100 Mitarbeiter und erzielte 2010 einen Umsatz von 318 Millionen Euro.[1]

Die Versicherungsleistungen sind jeweils Teil eines Finanzproduktes wie zum Beispiel Leasing, Ratenkredit, Immobilienkredit oder anderer Finanzierungsformen.

Unternehmensgeschichte

1979: Erwerb einer Mehrheitsbeteiligung der Ontos Restschuld-Lebensversicherungs AG mit Sitz in Köln durch die Credit Life-Muttergesellschaft Rheinland Versicherungs AG; Start des Vertriebs von Restschuldversicherungen.
2002: Gründung der Credit Life International NV mit Sitz in Rotterdam, Übernahme des Restschuldgeschäfts.
2004: Ausweitung des Restschuldgeschäftes nach Österreich.
2006: Sitz- und Betriebsstättenverlagerung nach Venlo.
2007: Aufbau einer Restschuldversicherungs-Vertriebseinheit in Polen.
2008: Expansion nach Tschechien, Slowenien, Ungarn und in die Slowakei.
2010: Bündelung der internationalen Aktivitäten in der Credit Life International Services GmbH

Sponsoring

Credit Life International engagiert sich als Sportsponsor für Borussia Mönchengladbach sowie für den TSV Dormagen. Darüber hinaus engagiert sich Credit Life bei der Aktion Luftballon.[2]
