Plan Totality

Plan Totality war der Plan eines Angriffs mit Kernwaffen, den U.S. General Dwight D. Eisenhower auf Anweisung von Präsident Harry S. Truman ausarbeitete.

Der Plan sah vor, die Sowjetunion mit 20 bis 30 Atombomben anzugreifen. Er sah 20 sowjetische Städte zur Vernichtung in einem Erstschlag vor: Moskau, Gorki, Kuibyschew, Swerdlowsk, Nowosibirsk, Omsk, Saratow, Kasan, Leningrad, Baku, Taschkent, Tscheljabinsk, Nischni Tagil, Magnitogorsk, Molotow, Tbilisi, Stalinsk, Grosny, Irkutsk, und Jaroslawl.[1]
