Die Strecke ist auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände Exhibition Place angesiedelt und besitzt elf Kurven. Von 1986 bis 2007 fanden Champ-Car-Rennen auf der Strecke statt. Seit 2009 ist die Rennstrecke Bestandteil der IndyCar Series. Darüber hinaus tragen weitere Rennserien im Rahmenprogramm der IndyCar-Veranstaltung ein Rennen aus.
1996 verstarb Jeff Krosnoff bei einem Unfall auf der Rennstrecke.
