David Cesarani

David Cesarani OBE (* 1956) ist ein englischer Historiker. Sein Spezialgebiet ist die Jüdische Geschichte und im besonderen der Holocaust. Er arbeitete früher unter anderen auf einem Kibbuz und wurde in Israel Mitglied der israelischen Friedensbewegung.

Als strategisches Mitglied der Holocaust Memorial Day-Gruppe des britischen Innenministeriums (Home Office) ist Cesarani mitverantwortlich für den Tag des Gedenkens an die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus am 27. Januar.[1] Er lebt in Greater London und arbeitet als Historiker am Royal Holloway, University of London. Sein Werk über Adolf Eichmann ist 2004 auch in deutscher Sprache erschienen.
