Pass (von französisch passer „überschreiten“) bezeichnet:

  • Reisepass, einen amtlichen Identitätsausweis zur Legitimation bei Auslandsreisen
  • Pass (Sport), das gezielte Übergeben des Sportgerätes im Sport
  • eine Schaltung, um bestimmte Signalanteile zu unterdrücken; siehe Filter (Elektronik)
  • eine aus mehreren Kreisbogen gebildete Form des gotischen Maßwerks; siehe Vierpass
  • bei Kartenspielen das Ankündigen, eine Runde auszusetzen; siehe Passen (Kartenspiele)
  • letzte Station einer Küche, an der u.a. angerichtet wird.
  • Joe Pass (1929–1994), US-amerikanischer Jazz-Gitarrist

Biologie:

  • Passgang, eine Fortbewegungsweise vier- und mehrbeiniger Tiere
  • einen von niederem Haarwild ausgetretenen Pfad; siehe Wildwechsel

Geografie:

  • Gebirgspass, eine niedrige Stelle zwischen zwei Bergen, die einen Übergang über einen Gebirgszug ermöglicht
  • Talpass, eine Engstelle von geringer Länge in einem Tal
