Porterbrook

Porterbrook ist eine der drei größten Leasinggesellschaften für Eisenbahnfahrzeuge in Großbritannien, die als Teil der Privatisierung der British Rail im Jahr 1996 die Lokomotiven, Eisenbahnwagen, und Triebzüge übernommen haben und an die Eisenbahnverkehrsunternehmen (EVU) vermieten. Die beiden anderen britischen Leasinggeber sind Angel Trains und HSBC Rail. Auf dem Festland sind noch CB Rail und MRCE Dispolok tätig.

Porterbrook ist seit 2000 eine hundertprozentige Tochter der Abbey National Bank.
