Frontline ist ein norwegisches Unternehmen mit Unternehmenssitz in Hamilton, Bermuda. Das Unternehmen ist an der Osloer Börse im OBX Index und an den Börsen in Stockholm, London und New York gelistet. Das Unternehmen wurde 1985 unter dem Unternehmensnamen (Firma) Frontline AB gegründet.

1997 wechselte der Sitz des Unternehmens von Schweden nach Bermuda.

48 Prozent des Unternehmens werden von John Fredriksen über dessen Holdingunternehmen Hemen Holding Ltd. gehalten.

Frontline hat 66 Tanker in seiner Flotte und ist damit die weltgrößte Tankerbetreibergesellschaft.
