Die Gemeinsame Hilfe bei der Unterstützung von Projekten in europäischen Regionen, kurz JASPERS (von engl. Joint Assistance to Support Projects in European Regions) ist eine Initiative von EU-Kommission, Europäischer Investitionsbank (EIB) und Europäischer Bank für Wiederaufbau und Entwicklung (EBRD), die 2006 ins Leben gerufen wurde[1]. Ziel ist es, Entwicklungsprojekte zur Angleichung der EU Mitgliedsstaaten zu unterstützen. Priorität haben Projekte in den Ländern Zypern, Tschechien, Estland, [Ungarn], Lettland, Litauen, Malta, Polen, Slowakei und Slowenien.
Als Steering Commitee fungieren je zwei Mitglieder von EU Kommission, EIB und EBRD.
Projektbereiche
Kernprojektbereiche sind[2]:
2007 wurde in Warschau das erste JASPERS-Büro eröffnet. Weitere Büros gibt es in Bukarest und Wien.
