Die New York World’s Fair (NYWF) von 1939 war eine Weltausstellung, die 1939/1940 in New York stattfand.
Anlässlich der Ausstellung wurde der Flushing-Meadows-Park eröffnet. Sie gilt als die größte Weltausstellung, die bislang stattgefunden hat. Die offiziellen Zahlen nennen 44 Millionen Besucher. Die Weltausstellung von 1939 hat zahlreiche Einflüsse in der Kultur hinterlassen, die in Film und Fernsehen von einer Szene in Hitchcocks Komödie Mr. und Mrs. Smith bis zu Futurama reichen.
