The Conduit ist ein First Person Shooter für Wii auf Basis der Quantum3-Spiele-Engine.

Handlung

The Conduit spielt im Washington, D.C. einer nahen Zukunft. Die Erde wird dort von Außerirdischen namens Drudge angegriffen. Der Spieler übernimmt die Rolle von Agent Michael Ford.

Sprecher

Die Spielerfigur Agent Michael Ford wird von Mark Sheppard gesprochen. Fords Vorgesetzter John Adams wird von Mark Sheppards Vater, William Morgan Sheppard gesprochen.

Kritiken

The Conduit erhielt überwiegend positive, jedoch keine herausragenden Kritiken. Gelobt werden vor Allem die Steuerung und die Mehrspieler-Modi. Die Einzelspieler-Mission sei mit ca. 8 Stunden Spielzeit zu kurz und bestehe aus Elementen, die bereits auch anderen Spielen bekannt seien.[2]

GameRankings gibt aktuell (Stand: 1. Januar 2010) eine durchschnittliche Wertung von 72,06 % an.[3]

Conduit 2

Conduit 2 ist der Nachfolger zu The Conduit und erscheint exklusiv für Nintendo Wii. Ab dem 22. April 2011 soll das Spiel in Deutschland erhältlich sein. [4]
