Die GameStop Corporation ist eine US-amerikanische, nach eigenen Angaben die weltweit größte Einzelhandelskette für Computerspiele und Unterhaltungssoftware. Sie hat ihren Sitz in Grapevine, Texas in den Vereinigten Staaten und betreibt mehr als 6.500 Filialen in 18 Ländern, über 1.000 davon in Europa.[2] GameStop ist mit dem Kürzel GME an der New York Stock Exchange gelistet.

GameStop ermöglicht seinen Kunden, gebrauchte Videospiele in Zahlung zu geben. Die so gebraucht angekauften Artikel bietet GameStop ergänzend zu seinem Angebot an Neuwaren an.
