430 mEinwohner (unbewohnt) Vindication Island ist eine kleine, unbewohnte Insel des im südlichen Atlantischen Ozean gelegenen britischen Überseegebietes von Südgeorgien und den Südlichen Sandwichinseln.
Das in der Inselgruppe der Südlichen Sandwichinseln gelegene, rechteckig geformte Eiland bildet mit der nur 4,5 km nordöstlich gelegenen Nachbarinsel Candlemas Island die Gruppe der Candlemasinseln.
Während Candlemas Island noch bis Ende der 50er-Jahre des 20. Jahrhundert vulkanische Aktivitäten erkennen ließ, sind vergleichbare Erkenntnisse für Vindication nicht bekannt. Das Eiland ist zwar auch vulkanischen Ursprungs, wie Gesteinsproben ergaben, aber vermutlich seit Tausenden von Jahren inaktiv, also vermeintlich erloschen.
Die beiden Inselchen wurden 1775 vom britischen Seefahrer James Cook entdeckt.
